Being 3...

Being 3 means...

finally getting a big girl bed (I am so thankful that we waited so long)!

Going to preschool!

And:
~trying to do everything on her own (including dressing, which is pretty funny to see- Lilly will come out with everything on backwards)
~getting out of bed at 2, 3, 4 o'clock in the morning, standing next to my side of the bed and waiting until I realize she's there, just "because"
~throwing tantrums in public places and have to be carried out kicking and screaming (once without shoes since Lilly took them off and threw them)

Nurse Lilly

For her birthday, Lilly got a nurse outfit complete with tools (stethoscope, blood pressure thing, etc - clearly I'm not a nurse since I can't remember the correct name of the blood pressure thing) from her Aunt Liz (who is a nurse and probably knows the correct name!). Lilly's new favorite phrase is "what seems to be the problem?" No matter what the answer is, the stethoscope is used. And it's always "I'll listen to your heart" through my knee, head, arm. She also enjoys the hammer thing (again, bad with the official names) which tests reflexes. She needs to be reminded by the minute not to really "hammer" it on my knees.
