February?

I just realized that we've taken all of 3 pictures for the entire month (completely slacking when compared with previous months). We didn't really do much worthy of photos this month, I guess. I'm most definitely not taking any pictures of potty training, which is what our focus has been the past few weeks. Here are some pictures from the past month:

Potty Training

Okay, this might be too much information, but I thought it was funny and those of you who have had (or have) 2 1/2 year olds will probably think it's funny too. Lilly is in the beginning stages of potty training and she's been sitting on the potty before or after (sometimes both times to put off bedtime) her bath at night. Tonight, she sat for about 4 seconds before her bath and then wanted to sit on the potty again after her bath. So, I thought this was just her smart procrastinating technique since she didn't want to go to bed. But, she said to me right after she sat down, "Here comes the pee!!!" It was so funny! She then did pee, so that was good!

Florida!!

Here are some pictures from our week in FL. It was, unfortunately, very chilly the first few days we were there (low of 29), and it started to warm up by the time we had to leave (of course!). Pete, Lilly, and I had a great time, anyway, spending time with Timothy, Tanya, Alexandra, Sophia, and Mabel, Erin, my mom, and Rory and Brigid. We went to Melbourne and stayed at our good friends' condo and we also went to Orlando and, thanks to Erin (we love you!!!), we were able to go to Disney World!

Snow Day

Lilly is such a home-body and sometimes I have to bribe her or sound REALLY excited to get her to go anywhere in the afternoons after her nap. Yesterday, Pete took her outside to play while I was out running errands and they had a blast. Today, we all went out. It was as if I was torturing Lilly to get her to go outside. She was crying as I put her snowpants on and it was taking extra long to get her ready (as those of you with kids know, you are outside just about as long as it takes to get ready to go outside). The minute we got outside, she threw herself in the snow and was a completely different child. Anyway, we were outside for almost an hour and Lilly was having the time of her life...rolling in the snow, making snow angels, throwing the snow, eating the snow (gross, but she insisted it tasted like fruit snacks!?), and dragging her sled full of snow on "a little trip" (as she called it) down the sidewalk. She also had fun with Pete running her in the sled up and down the sidewalk and driveway.

Christmas and stuff

Here are some pictures from Christmas and the holiday season. We had a great time with Pete's whole family in town! Lilly had a horrible cold, so she looks a little like rudolph in some of the pictures, but she loved Christmas morning! Her favorite presents are shown below.

A close second, Mike-n-Ikes!
The other favorite present was this huge tin of popcorn that our friend, Kevin and his brother, Jeffrey brought us after Christmas. She still talks about the popcorn and "our friends Kevin and Jeffrey" They will forever be associated with popcorn.
