Spring Break, etc

Here are a few new pictures. Most are from Spring Break- we went to visit friends in IL for the weekend, but other than that we just hung around here for the week. It was luckily nice for part of the week so we weren't cooped up inside (like this week).

Zach, rolling: he rolls all the time now and I have to be careful to put him far away from objects that he'll roll into (today he rolled across the family room floor and got stuck by the couch). I'm a little nervous that he's rolling so early (Lilly didn't roll until closer to 6 months)...we might have a mover on our hands!

Lilly's first soccer practice. Her first game is this weekend- it's pretty funny to watch her team as no one really knows what they are doing and most of the girls are acting like soccer practice is a playdate.

Our homemade puppet theater. I really really want a puppet theater, but don't have room for one (and they are super expensive usually), so we made one that we can put up and take down in a second! I also attempted some puppets, but those aren't as impressive

Here's a video of Zach talking. He talks all the time now and will go on for about 20 minutes!! He isn't talking a lot here because we have the camera out (same thing he does when we try to get him to smile for the camera- he refuses!).

Monday Night

Here's an exciting recap of my night on Monday:

7:45 pm: 4 year old in bed
8:45 pm: 2 month old in bed
1:30 am: 2 month old wakes up and eats
2:00 am: everyone back in bed
2:47 am: 2 month old wakes up screaming
3:02 am: 2 month old is almost asleep and 4 year old gets up and has bloody nose
3:04 am: 2 month old gets put into bed and starts screaming and 4 year old is in bathroom crying
3:15 am: 4 year old's nose stops bleeding and now 2 month old is not only screaming, is wide awake also
3:40 am: 4 year old comes out of room because something is "spiking her" (dried blood that was inside her shirt was itching her)
4:00 am: mom eats cookie and looks at facebook while 2 month old lays cooing on couch
4:10 am: 4 year old comes out of room because she is scared of something (but not sure what)
4:20 am: everyone back in bed and asleep
5:00 am: 2 month old wakes back up screaming and does not want to eat
5:15 am: everyone back in bed
7:15 am: mom takes shower and when she gets out of bathroom, 2 month old is screaming again

Yay the joys of being a mom with a husband out of town! :)

Lilly LOVES to play in the snow and I was having a hard time figuring out how to play with her when Zach is sleeping 20 minutes at a time, so we brought snow inside!

Lilly is not tired

we had record snow fall here this past weekend (28 + inches in a 24 hour period). Good times. the plows decided to be really funny and plow only one side of our street (the opposite side from our house), so we were stuck in the house all weekend. Pete had to dig out a path in the street for me to get out this morning to bring Lilly to school (which she completely HAD to go to if you watch the video below).
