Potato Creek State Park
Lilly's favorite thing to do was sit in a chair and look at books. Other things we forced her to do were: watch animals eat, go on a walk in the woods, and go in a row boat. This child would gladly sit all day and read! Fine with me, I just wish she knew how to read to herself!!

Flip Flops
Sunburst
We all participated in the Sunburst activities this year. Pete ran the 5K and Pete, Lilly, and I walked in the Family Fun Walk. Next year, I might try to do the 5K even though I don't run and really don't like it much. It's a good goal, though. We'll see how it all works out next year!

Outdoor Fun
Lilly loves being outdoors...here are some more pictures:
Splashing in the puddles after a lot of rain! She did this for almost 40 minutes yesterday...just walked and jumped and splashed in the puddles up and down our street

Watering the flowers:

Taking the baby (and her camera) for a walk. She would do this everyday if the weather cooperated.

Visit to NY
Over Memorial Day weekend, we drove out to Fort Plain, NY to visit my parents. We had a great time! Lilly did surprisingly well in the car (thanks to lots of sugar and the dvd player). Lilly's favorite thing to do was to read all of the books in Fiona's room (her "friend" as she kept referring to Fiona). She also enjoyed jumping on the trampoline and swinging with the other kids. Oh- she also loved the 5 cats that my parents have and she kept trying to give them toys to play with and read them books. The cats would always run the other way when Lilly came in the room.

Sports Girl
We bought Lilly a T-ball set this week (since she went to her friend Eamon's birthday party and loved his t-ball set). She has a pretty good swing and manages to hit the ball with both bats that we have, even though she holds the bat the wrong way! She also has been putting golf tees in the ground, putting a golf ball on one, and then using her plastic putter to hit the balls as far as she can.
